Anyone who watches the news will have seen earlier this week that a large manufacturing company are cutting a shitload of jobs. Unfortunately, I work for that company. I already know that my department is one facing redundancies, but find out tomorrow what is happening to me specifically. Seeing as I have been with the company for 12 months, I’m not terribly confident!
Methinks it’s time to spruce up the CV, and re-register with a couple of recruitment agencies, just in cases. My CV (IMHO) looks quite impressive, and I may well post it on this site, in case prospective recruiters stumble upon it. You never know!
I will post more about this tomorrow, when I find out my fate!
